Baby Grabber

ARK's Baby Grabber is designed to help parents and therapists assist babies in the early stages of oral development. 

Use it to encourage sensory exploration and biting and chewing skills. Simply place the loop in between the front of the baby's mouth, or the stem in between the molar area, and guide the jaw up and down to close. This oral motor activity can help strengthen the mouth muscles and prepare them for speech and feeding skills later on. Please note: the Baby Grabber is not for independent use, please directly supervise at all times.

This new design combines the original smooth and textured Baby Grabbers into one single chew, smooth on one half and textured on the other half for varying sensory input and tactile stimulation to the gums and mouth. For orally sensitive little ones - start by presenting the smooth half and eventually progress to the textured half.

Measures approximately 11cm long, 6.5cm wide, and 1cm thick. The extension measures just over 1cm long.  

The light blue, yellow, and pink Baby Grabbers are soft and chewy. The turquoise is firmer yet still chewy and pliable. Exact color hues may vary slightly.

Caution: This product is not a toy. Recommended for children 5-6 months and up.  lthough these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly.  Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear.
