Games are one of the best ways to develop mental and physical capabilities in children. We have various games for children with special needs, to help them improve in the areas they find most difficult while having lots of fun!
We have decks of Flash Cards for shapes, colours, letters and numbers. These aid children’s comprehension of not only the basic concepts, but everyday objects, sights and sounds associated with them. Using these skills, the Make a Word game tasks children with finding the right picture and reading the corresponding word.
In Last Mouse Lost, players take turns choosing how many mice to push down, with the person pushing the last one losing the round. While simple, this is a clever game that builds fine motor function, finger isolation and forward thinking.
Our activities for special needs students also include the frantic fun of Gator Goal. This game builds balance, coordination and reaction times as children try to kick the ball into all of Gatoriffic’s teeth! Frida’s Fruit Fiesta is one of our quieter games for special needs children, reinforcing letter recognition and the alphabet, while also developing fine motor and strategic thinking skills We truly have something for everyone.
